Liquid PPF Protection. Seamless Like A Coating.

Opti-Shield® introduces a new category of vehicle protection: Liquid Paint Protection Film.

Designed for professional installation, Opti-Shield bridges the gap between ceramic coatings and traditional paint protection film by combining the seamless application and appearance of a coating with a thicker, self-healing, repairable protection layer designed to defend paint against everyday wear.

Unlike traditional PPF, Opti-Shield is applied in liquid form and cures into a permanent, invisible protective layer over factory paint. There are no seams, no edges, no peeling, and no yellowing — just durable, long-term protection with a clean factory appearance.

Opti-Shield is ideal for cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and complex body panels where traditional film can be difficult, costly, or visually distracting.

Beyond Ceramic Coatings. Without The Drawbacks Of Film.

Ceramic coatings are excellent for gloss, chemical resistance, UV protection, and easier maintenance, but they are thin by design.

Traditional PPF provides the highest level of impact protection, but it can be expensive, visible at the edges, difficult to install on complex shapes, and may require replacement if damaged.

Opti-Shield fills the space between the two.

It creates a much thicker protection layer than a traditional ceramic coating while maintaining the seamless look and installation advantages of a liquid-applied product. The result is a durable, self-healing, repairable layer designed to improve resistance to scratches, road debris, marring, and everyday damage.

Advanced, Repairable Protection

Opti-Shield forms a thick protective layer over the paint that can be corrected, repaired, and renewed without replacing film or removing material from the factory clear coat.

If the surface becomes lightly scratched or marred, Opti-Shield can self-heal with sun exposure or controlled heat. If an area is more heavily damaged, the affected section can be spot-repaired by reapplying additional Opti-Shield.

As long as the damage does not fully penetrate the Opti-Shield layer, repairs can be performed while preserving the original factory finish underneath.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Opti-Shield a ceramic coating?

No. Opti-Shield is a ceramic-based Liquid Paint Protection Film. It offers the gloss and chemical resistance associated with ceramic coatings, but it forms a much thicker, self-healing, repairable protection layer.

Is Opti-Shield the same as traditional PPF?

No. Traditional PPF is a physical film installed over the paint. Opti-Shield is applied as a liquid and cures into a permanent protective layer. It provides some of the scratch and impact resistance associated with film, without seams, visible edges, peeling, or yellowing.

Is Opti-Shield more scratch and chip resistant than a ceramic coating?

Yes. Opti-Shield is significantly thicker than a traditional ceramic coating and provides greatly improved resistance to scratches, marring, and everyday wear.

Is Opti-Shield as protective as traditional PPF?

Traditional film PPF still provides the highest level of impact protection, especially in high-abuse areas such as front bumpers, hoods, and rocker panels.

Opti-Shield is the closest alternative for customers who want added impact resistance, self-healing, repairability, and full-vehicle protection without the cost, seams, and installation drawbacks of film.

Can ceramic coatings be installed over Opti-Shield?

Yes. Ceramic coatings may be installed over Opti-Shield for additional gloss, slickness, hydrophobic performance, and ease of maintenance.

Can Opti-Shield be peeled off?

No. Opti-Shield forms a permanent bond to properly prepared paint. It is designed to protect the vehicle’s finish long term without requiring film removal.

Is Opti-Shield self-healing?

Yes. Opti-Shield can self-heal light scuffs and scratches with sun exposure or controlled heat. Unlike products that rely only on a thin self-healing topcoat, Opti-Shield’s self-healing properties are built throughout the protective layer.

Can Opti-Shield be repaired?

Yes. If the Opti-Shield layer is scratched or damaged but not fully penetrated, the affected area can be repaired or renewed by reapplying additional Opti-Shield.
